What do I Do?
Some of my hobbies and interests. I may or may not have listed everything and I may loose interest or have another one! I guess you’ll have to keep coming back if my life interests you that much!
Piano and Keyboard
I Started playing the Piano at age 8. It was a long slow learning process but I managed to pick up enough to play some reasonable Grade 4 Tunes. At 13 I found Electronic Keyboards and that was that!!! I learnt many skills and became hooked. I learnt to create backing track which later turned into arranging music.
Brass Banding
After playing the Piano and Keyboard I needed to do something different with music. I was challenged to play a trumpet but couldn't so I joined a brass band in 2001. Frome Town Youth Band was the band for 14 years under the direction of Terry Mouncher for the first 10 and then taking the MD Post in 2010.
Laser Engraving
During Covid-19 I wanted to do something different. Wood working has always interested me but I'm not good at it! So I was watching YouTube and decided to purchase one of these hobby machines. I have lasered a few small projects for my family but nothing major yet. If you have an Idea then please get in touch and I'll give it a go!
Wells City Band
Wells City band is a Brass Band based in the City of Wells.
I have been part of the band since October 2015 and haven’t looked back since. Under the direction of Paul Denegri I have learnt a lot and had wonderful opportunities and experiences.
